WMSKLI Alumna Shares Inspiring Journey at Cambridge Top Learner Awards
At the recent Cambridge Top Learner Awards, Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur International (WMSKLI) alumna Tiffany Bin, now an external auditor at KPMG Malaysia, shared her journey from achieving straight A*s in Cambridge IGCSE exam back in 2017 to earning her ICAEW professional qualification.
Tiffany credited WMSKLI for laying the foundation of her success. “WMSKLI instilled in me the importance of time management, resilience, and a passion for learning,” she said. Balancing a full science curriculum with extracurriculars, she developed an interest in accounting, which she pursued after graduation. Her experience at WMSKLI, particularly through impromptu presentations and leadership roles, equipped her with essential skills for the professional world.
She highlighted the importance of community and perseverance. “Building a support system and embracing challenges are key to growth,” she emphasised, encouraging students to view setbacks as opportunities.
Tiffany closed by congratulating the awardees and reminding them that the future is bright, urging them to continue striving for excellence. “The journey ahead will have challenges, but those challenges are the doors to your greatest achievements.”
